Static Security Guarding:
Supplying security guards/officers throughout the UK, Valley
Security's operations management is proactive in matching people to
assignment requirements.
Similarly, great care is taken during on-the-job (assignment specific)
training of staff. We understand that the placement of highly trained
professional staff is paramount to meeting the expectations of discerning
clients and consumers. The scope of static guarding assignments is
wide ranging and, as a result of increasing crime, take up has increased
in all market sectors including public access buildings, in line with
increased incidents of verbal and physical abuse. Employers and public
service providers face growing pressures to ensure a safe environment
for employees and visitors. All VSS personnel receive formal Security
Industry Authority training and have to pass SIA approved examinations
on the subject of conflict management; early recognition of hostility
is key to calming and defusing situations, which could otherwise escalate
into ugly and potentially costly issues.

Mobile Security Patrols:
Operating in Welshpool, Shrewsbury, Ellesmere, Oswestry and Wrexham
areas (serving Shropshire and Powys); these well equipped search
and response units make random security patrols of clients premises
(business and residential), through the night and at week ends -
to ensure the security of all doors, gates and windows. VSS mobile
patrol units are equipped with computerised guard tour checkpoint
systems, where downloaded activity data assures clients of effective
operation policing. A computerised print out, listing date and time
recordings is supplied routinely (with invoices) allowing a simple
cross reference between requirement and delivery.

Car Parking/Traffic Management: Do
you have problems at your premises with illegal/thoughtless parking,
or with general traffic management distractions? These increasing
problems cause frustration to many owners/occupiers; also there
may be Health and Safety implications which cannot be ignored. Our
highly visible staff are trained to diplomatically ensure that these
abuses are identified, recorded and not repeated.

Front
of House: Assignments located in public buildings and commercial/business
premises, where a diplomatic and attentive approach is essential
in the enhancement of the visitor experience. Valley Security staff
in these roles enjoy excellent relations with clients and consumers,
primarily due to a flexible attitude towards responsibilities, where
for example, a variety of portering/concierge duties may also be
willingly undertaken.

Gatehouse / Weighbridge Security:
Operating often in high throughput areas, processing a wide range
of visitors and staff, VSS security lodge and weighbridge operators
are trained with particular emphasis on multi-tasking and people
skills.

Key holding /
Intruder Alarm Activation Response: Offered to businesses
of all types/sizes, clubs and home owners. Upon notification, one
of our response units will immediately attend, to conduct a thorough
external and internal site search - to establish the cause of activation.
In the event of a false alarm, a straight forward alarm reset is
carried out, with the premises secured on departure. In circumstances
where an intrusion had occurred, our people would preserve the premises
as a scene of crime, notifying the Police and the client. Upon client
instructions, we would maintain a Guard on site until either boarding
up or full repairs are carried out, to reinstate security. Customers
may prefer (and have the option of) using their own key holders,
employing VSS in support on a 'hold hands' basis - so as not to
place their own people at risk. Conversely, a fully delegated service
is the option, where the customer remains undisturbed and a written
report is provided the following morning.

- House
Sitting: Crime
statistics for burglary and robbery, or fear of trespass, squatting
and vandalism are of serious concern for absent home owners. VSS offers
flexible short term and ongoing solutions, ranging from a full live-in
service, to mobile patrolling - according to risk and budget. All VSS
home sitting personnel are ofcourse, CRB checked and SIA licensed.

Monitoring Centre:
Valley Security operates a round-the-clock monitoring and directing
facility of operations, to ensure continuity of services, protection
of lone workers and response to alarm activations. This facility
is available to clients employing lone workers, where a duty of
care is met and a rapid 'man down' response is initiated should
a check call be missed and contact cannot be made.

All
types of portable fire fighting equipment, hose reels and signage
can be supplied and serviced/repaired.

Our
engineers can advise clients with regard to the Regulatory Reform
(Fire Safety) Order, approved by parliament in 2005, effective from
1st October 2006 in England and Wales - when fire certificates were
abolished and responsibility lies with owners and employers to undertake
Fire Risk Assessments and to act on the findings. We understand
that many businesses will not have the necessary internal skills
to carry out their legal obligations in this regard, VSS Fire Protection
are here to help.

marked - we do not use cheap imported units.
